Default Turbo Upgrade

I now have T3 turbo from a 4x4 cossie.

I have been told this is a RST upgrade, is this correct.

Also i have a freesh built RST engine, what sortof boost should i run to ruin the engine ? and how long should i run the engine in for.

Thanks all....

Not to sure about the turbo, but people normally run fresh engines in upto about 1500 miles.

The 4x4 T3 is a upgrade compared to the standard TB0355 T3. Exhaust housing is bigger and the wastegate design is much much better. Does require a custom downpipe to fit and the housings will have the be spun around to allign with the water and oil pipes.

Correctamondo

Most engines are run in for 1000 miles. Different people say different things. Julian Godfrey says 600, Power Engineering say 1500. Personally, I think that's a load of shit. 1000 is the norm.
