whats the set-up there? did they change the shells totally on the later WRC shells or are they a straigh swap for the older doors?

I personally prefer the normal Escort Cosworth look.

I don't like the WRC kit, it looks like loads of bits that have been added on rather than a factory produced car.

 

Is this the engine with the IHI turbo running 2.7bar boost at 3000rpm or something similar?

ive never really been a fan of the WRC look but gotta say that a1 rally sport car on front cover does look the bollox with the black rims

 

now that blue one looks mint !

I just dont like the standard ones, and I cant stand the standard rear escos spoiler.
wish they would of put a 3 door type of one on.

it makes the car look jacked up at the back like a hotrod.

and the standard front bumper is on every mk4 escort, mk3 fiesta and even seen on pug 205s, devalued totally. where as the WRC with the oval grill, made the car look much harder and purposeful and more inline with the mk6 escort that was in production at the time.

WRC everyday of the week for me!!

looking at performance ford...neither the front and rear spoiler fit the car properly.

concours cars at the shows are the best your ever likely to see.

standard ecort probably one of the best looking cars ever made,especially with 18" rondell's or OZ super T's on. WRC kits are normally shite cos they are crappy fibreglass and put on by a monkey with a glue gun and painted with a catapult,
If you want to see an AWSOME looking WRC escort, look no further than Ian@raceteks, it is soooo well put together it is unbelivable, and that is coming from someone who HATES bodykits etc
