Default FAO Berkshire/Hampshire folk - pub for sunday roast

alright local people?

need some advice on where to take the missus and her sister for a sunday roast on her birthday (a spit roast would make a nicer present i reckon ).

do you know any nice country pubs that do a good one around the wokingham area and surrounding countryside?

i saw this morning that the wellington arms hotel on the a33 do a carvery, tried it?

cheers

try the cricketers near woking, or the brookwood arms. then you got a few on the way into guilford from there also where the berkshire have the meet at the bulls in arborfield. hope this helps, go for a search on the net mate

Try the Plough (Reading Rd?)which is on the road going out of Wokingham to Bracknell, or even the Black Boy in Shinfield ... they do a great carvery and you might get to see me and a few others in there as well
