Default halfords wot a shock!!!

been fonin everywere foir a clutch cable for me 4x4 cos ford specialists out stock, everywere can get em in few days all priced 10 - 20

called halfrauds 7 fookin quid and hes getting it in to shop i can pick it up at 3pm !!!

shocked to say the least lol

I think they are making a real effort in there car parts dept, ive now got a trade card and they will beat most motor factors now!

Its not the halfords in west quay is it? I phoned up for a cam belt for an astray i was servicing - i drove all they way over there from lymington only to be handed an alternator belt

If Halfords don't have it they just get it from a local retailer..... we supply a couple of Halfords with parts they usually don't keep on the shelf

intresting to see if it fits or not. They probably put it down as a 2.0litre sierra DOHC.

i bet they get you one for the standard car, dont know why you had trouble from a factors i work in one and can get any part for cossies or rs's in about 3 hours no trouble, or you might be unlucky and have to wait till the next mornin.

in that case order me 20 front bumpers,while your at it i will have 2o rears as well,thats for an escort cosworth.
wait 3 hrs for 500 coolers,i will have 23 of them as well.

i had trouble getting a 2wd clutch cable, they kept giving me the 4x4 one, which was apparently more common

halfords are really making an effort!

the trade card scheme is great, managed to get an escort cosworth caliper for Ł38 (only cos the part number listed on the comp was wrong so they had to do me a cosworth caliper for that! ) should have retailed at Ł98!

wot mick said common as muck, only about 12quid from ford so cant be more than a fiver from a decent factors
