Default Hammerite

Will Hammerite stay on calipers and drums, when using for fast road use, or will it burn off. Cheers

I used a hammerite primer on mine before painting them.

Putting it on thicker wont keep it on better mate - Fallacy

A good prepped surface and blasted/keyed is the best.

Hammerite becomes very hard in service, and will chip off easily.
If you stick it straight on top of layered rust, on a caliper .. Dont expect it to stay there for long!
One thin coat followed by another seems the beast way .. or use primer.

well i took all the rust off, i only used fairy, bit of sand paper and a stiff brush to clean it so i don't expect it to last more than a few years. it didn't need to be keyed since the finish on the calipers and drums is rough as arseholes anyway.
