British cars
Right what ones are left thats 100% British owned and built? I know its only small scale and only appeal to the neiche markets etc. So who are the ones u can think of?

If you exclude own kit assemblers like Caterham , Westfield, then you will be struggling to find more than a very small handfull.

Basically manufacturing in general has been in decline for years in this country. Having worked in the aerospace game for 8 years I have seen so much manufacturing moved to the far east and china etc obviously this also applies to automotive and every other sector of manufacturing.
All very sad, soon we will be a service country as the only thing that generates hard cash for a country is manufacturing (i.e making things and selling them to other countries) and if we dont do that all we have is north sea oil to generate cash, as we know that wont last for ever.
We are living on credit

ok still a kit car company but i think you can still only buy a pre built rolling chassis and not the actual bits / components
