i finally got round to painting the new car today, been on a bit of a mission with it the last 2 weeks....here it is, shell was sandblasted underneath/inside and under bonnet...the exterior panels were stripped back manually to do a bare metal respray

thanks lads.....i,v owned this one for a couple of years now but it had ground to a halt due to being busy with work and building the workshop it is pictured in...full speed a head now the doors and the other bits will be done within the next week then its simply a case of stripping the running gear out of the n reg one and fitting it
few changes like a bag tank , mag pedalbox, bigger brakes and maybe some engine changes...still not decided yet

Damo V, its a 1993 lux pack model, i put a non sunroof roofskin on it and had tarcal fit the weld in cage,yes the cage is satin black well spotted!

solid 2k mate...never really been into base and clear for solid colours although i know many are like that now, i havent done much painting for the past 7 years but its good to do it now and again just so i can see i still have the knack!

prep on the shell was a nightmare....inside was the worst!

what did you do paint the cage then mask that up to paint the rest of the inside? Must be a nightmare reaching through all that to paint!!

 

kev,in answer to your question,i may have all the bits you asked for if i decide to break this car i have here,useing it this weekend and then again in a fortnite so we will see how it goes,sorry for the delay in getting back to you,in the meantime look on my ebay over the next week,iam listing a fair bit of very tasty escort group A parts.
