Default Rs Turbo ECU's

Lads,

I have a list for the engine ECU's....

S1 = Blue - Red - Blue ~ No knock sensor

S2 = pre 1987, Blue - Red - White ~ No knock sensor

S2 = 1987 Onwards, Blue - Red - Black ~ With knock sensor

S2 = 1990 Onwards, Hearts & Diamonds ~ With knock sensor

Which i belive to be correct, would anyone have the list for the fuel ECU's?

The one i have has a blue label and i've seen them with green labels too.

Curious what go with what?

Knock sensor was added to later cars, but its prone to giving problems. It's supossed to retard the ignition if detonation is detected, but it's mounted in a stupid place, and tends to alter the igntion depending on what colur boxers ur wearing, and the postion of the stars.

series 2 loom series 2 fuel box
series 1 loom series one fuel box
However the looms can be altered to suit the fuel box

The loom is different for the fuel ecu, in the way the TPS works.

To modify the loom, you need to earth the TPS through the ECU, as on an s2 it earths to the body. I've done this on mine, as it totally removes the fuel rev limit - the omex soley controlls the rev limit.

rick could you expand as even I don't understand what you are saying lol
You need to be more specific with the fuel box you are using and the wiring mod .
series 1 tps is live switching series 2 is earth switching
series one fuel box does not have a rev limiter series 2 does

lol, sorry was a bit vague.

I use s1 ecu on s2 so there is no rev limit. I modded the s2 loom so that it was live switching.
