just cant seem to get insured on the q plate cossy on the trader,

has anyone on here got one and who do they use to insure it ?

 

Try HIC insurance 08451 290290 or Adrian Flux.

They seem to be the cheepest at the moment.

greenlight bout Ł100 more than non q plate for me anyway.

 

I JUST RANG AND ASKED EM, POSING AS A NEW CUSTOMER THEY SAY THEY DO NOT DO EM ????????????????????

 

Strange... had a Q-plate 3dr a few years ago and never had any issues with insuring it atall.

just insured it as a second car to my main cossie policy and that was thru Bell Direct.

 

I asked greenlight about covering my car (cossie built into an A reg shell) and they wouldnt touch it, would imagine Q plate would be same story, as its not a "proper" cossie. (on paper only)

 

I have had a quote from greenlight on a q plate escos Ł1150. direct line who I am whith now want Ł2800, plus the quote from greenlight was for a highly modded escos aswell. I got a quote on a rwd mk3 gartac cossy powerd escort and that was only Ł900.

 

GOT A NUMBER FOR BELL DIRECT ?

 

HIC insure my S1 on a Q plate!!

 

My Q plate 3 dr is with Greenlight Ł699 Fully comp,stage 3 T34 L8 ecu etc all declared,never had any probs.

u will either have 2 take out a traders policey which allows u 2 drive any vehicle

faling that look in the adds in all the mags or espeacly auto trader as thers a few that will do it.
