Quite honestly, no, they don't. Means it's great if you're buying one, shit if you're selling one though

Been like that in Scotland for ages. I bought a solid S2 with loads of history and a freshly rebuilt engine for 1000 quid. Had a years MOT too.



Only bad bit was a dent on the bonnet and a shoddy repair to the tailgate. Apart from that it was a great wee car.

has to be said, my mate had one and it was a fooking mare , shame as they look and sound nice, but i'm always dissapointed when I drive one had a series 1 for a month, drove it once and sold it for Ł2200 profit lol

Iam not going to argue who had what as I would win hands down,I just cant understand why you slag fords so much you must have had one and enjoyed driving and owning it so whay slate a type of car,I love the jap stuff espeically an Evo I personally think the engineering is superb and cant be beat,even though I dont own one I dont slag them down,cars have come on a long way and if as you say your have owned a few you should understand you cannot judge a Ford against a Jap car there in 2 different leagues they are and were class leaders in there day,But the ford RS scene as you well know has a lot of life left in it yet,so tis not a case of growing up my freind its a case of seeing the truth all the best cup cake

Pete - i've owned loads of RS's RST's, saph's, 3 door's & esc cos's infact i had my 1st RS when i was 15!
Me & my brother was breaking them & dealing in parts well over 10 years ago so i know about RS's!

I've just moved onto better things 'IMO' - so if i wanna slag a ford off i will!
I dont slag RS's off on the whole infact if ever i wanted a little run about i think i'd get another RS500

 

your dead right there mate you should see the one i picked up today and he thought it was nice seriously there are cars and there are proper cars a nice RS is a stunning thing to own you know that yes there is shit about and most of these people are trying to sell as mint so they sticj and people cant understand why and start asking the question like what has been asked here.I have seen things go whole circle in the 15 years I have been dealing in RS cars (so AJ I dont think you have had nearly as many as me) A good car will still hold good value far more then any Jap car. I have always said you cannot place an RS in the same league as any Jap car techknowogy has moove so far forward there toally different.All cars are getting better and more reliable by the day soon we will be on hover cars so what will be said of the japs cars then,probaly get a slating for breaking down when they become 15 years old

 

Its worth buying one mate as they will only increase in value,my mate has got the first Evo 9 in the country he sell loads of tuning stuff for them he aslo had a top specced up Evo 6 which was incredable but things again has mooved on in a very short space of time so the 6 is now outdated against the 8,A Ford RS have been the same for years and are still going strong

 

I dont even drive a Ford I drive a Toyota as I think there a better pick up,however I still love the old RS espeically a MK1 with bubbelarches pure animal

 

Well actually the 8's are outdated against the 9's & the 10's due for release next year so the 9 will be outdated & on & on

But the thing that your forgetting about mine is that its a ltd edt 14/50 uk spec Tommi Mak's in red - so i dont think i'll be loosing too much & it will hold it's price quite well - evo 8's are fetching around the same money as uk spec tme's are (& less if you talking about a red tme).

However if it didnt hold it's price then big deal it's only money
