its got all the caps, but there are small cracks around where they go, its a bit scratched and there is one really small bit where its been snagged.

£100 or swap for a 3 door bonnet and the side skirts (i got the arches already)

why not pop into a few breakers and find a 16l option spoiler

cant belive they used a 1.6l option spoiler and people class it as cool as it was on a rs500

Jules think he means the Sierra 2.0i sport 5dr 84-87 which had a bottom spoiler which was similar to the 500 BUT was made of a different kind of material and DIDN'T have the cut out for the 500 fin.

That spoiler isn't as wide as a 500 one and the 500 one didn't have bolt holes through it either! Its also a different shape on the ends appart from that its similare lol

The 1.6l spoiler Is the same as the gen 500 lower spoiler ( I have 2 in my garage ) exept for the cutout for the rear fin which was cut out at tickford with a knife

Sadly tho this one isnt as it looks like fibreglass and also the 500 spoiler has no screw caps and as spadge says its has different corners

Paul a 1.6L wasn't fitted with a spoiler!
The 2.0is was and that will be the ones you have

I got both mine from std 1.6L cars ,,But the spoilers where available to buy from any ford dealer for £45 + vat and most of the std 3 doors had them fitted as a extra after sale .

So we are both correct ( in a way ) lol,,

I was always under the impression that the notch was just cut out of the ones fitted to the original 500s, but I recently bought a genuine 500 lower fin and the missing bit is 100% moulded in, as you can see the mould line and the walls of the notch are perfectly smooth not cut.

Fudge I have a brand new composite lower 500 spoiler for sale for £75, its very well made not the usual tat if its of any use for your project.

i was just about to say the same,i have a 2.0 spoiler on my 3 door,and got a genuine 500 one to copy the cut out (it was from spadges black 500 he bought a few months back) and the spoilers are very slightly different were they sit on the rear quarter,but for £20 ,i can live with it.i have seen some right bodges ,were people have tried to cut the 'v' out
