Default Pics of my '74 Taunus coupe

Here are some pics of my Old Taunus coupe.
I had a Mk2 RS2000 but i sold it because a Taunus coupe is rarer in Holland than the Escort. I hope you like it.

I only have the car since 1 year. A the moment there's a bog standars 2.0 205 pinto in it with a 5-speed gearbox and a 1.6 diff. I'm waiting for PU bushes wich i ordered in the UK, than it's got to be lowered. I recently boucht a nice interior and some twin 45 webers, and during the winter i wan't to fit a tuned cil. head and a spagetti. I love the rawness of the good old pinto, but my ultimate goal wil be having a atmo-cossie engine.

I have checked your web-site and must admit i love your xr4i
What a great looking/stunning car. I owned one, 10 years ago, and regretting selling it for the same ammount of time.
But hey, you can't have it all.

Greetz,
Sven

Tata,
Here they are.
I've made rails on wich the front slides down. It's just a detail on the car but i've done this a hundred times, before it was finished after approxemately(is this spelled right?) 100 ours. It's now hand-opperated, but i going to make it electrical when i'm in a relaxed mood.
I'm currently working on the interior since i finally found a nice Capri-recaro interior, then i've got to addapt the brake-servo to fit the webers, then the PU bushes got to be placed, then it's got to be lowered, and then the spagetti, and then annother cyl. head, and then, and then, and then. It's a never ending story, but i love it to bits.

Greetz,
Sven

Yes, the german built taunus is almost the same as the UK built Cortina mk3, although the shape of the car is slightly different.
