right this thread should turn into my rebuild diary. however i firstly need some advice from u guys if possible.

i want to totally strip my S2 down to bare metal and totally respray it. how much would i be looking at to have it rust repaired and resprayed??? i only need a rough estimate of best and worst case scenario. this is all i need to get the project started as i need to plan funds before i start stripping the car

Benno210, well it's really hard to say, as we don't know how much needs to be done here, if you watch my thread(oh boy here we go), well do consider that that car got a complete new roof, a new rear left side wing, both rear chassis legs, front cross member, rear one too, scuttle panel replaced and several other bits and pieces.
It all costed me near the 2500£-2800£ mark, not even counted my hours I've spent in sanding, mounting and dismantling, be prepared, very prepared.


BUT if you know you're ways with a welding machine, might save ya lots o' monnies
