would you have to work in to the timing ie in rotation or do i go againts the timing to acheave more powere in a cossy engine on both ex& inlet cam or does 1 go back and 1 goes forward or do they both go the same direction .or does this all depend on the cams its standerd cam THANKS
Vernier pulleys are to be used to allow you to time the cams up to exactly the required timing. This means using a DTI and crankshaft protractor and is actually a job best left to the cossie experts!!
DO NOT just turn them randomly as you risk firstly bending your valves and secondly melting the engine should the timing change increase high rpm VE.
