ok just fitted a engine to my estate after last 1 lost oil pressure cos of pump i think

this new engine is playing silly buggers tho, when it gets warm and the revs go to about 1k or under the oil light pops on but only when reving low and its warm, dont ever do it when cold or reving more

i think some1 had put some real thin oil in cos its just had a new built ported n cammed head fitted

u think what i think??

doubt oil would cause oil light to come on, more likely to be a pump problem or the oil pickup pipe in the sump,

also the oil light is always more likely to come on when the engine is warm as the pressure drops off a bit, and when col,d like from start up the oil pressure is always higher
