Who uses I-Tunes?????
but everytime i try and load software e.t.c it says microsoft error?????

The iPod isnt plugged in is it as that isnt supposed to go in until the software requests it during installation.
What Operating System are you running and service packs?
Do you have profiles i.e User and Administrator so software may need to be installed under Administrator.

I am on windows xp.
And it keeps saying quick time failed to initilaze, and quicktime not loaded.
And just now it sayed plug in not inititlazed!!!!!!!!1
