Default REV LIMITER ?

Do any of you guys no if a xr3i 1900 (efi) should have a rev limiter because i have recently brought 1 and was racing a rover 216gti and got a bit rev happy, it did not limit it just reved is titties off and stoped pulling. the engine and everthing still seemes fine thow, so can any 1 help me thanks.

XR3i 1900? not std then! someone could have removed it if that's the case, but i doubt it, as that would be stupid!

What did it rev too? rev limiter could of been raised!?

sorry i ment 1990 as in the year, it is a 1.6 and the rev counter banged rite up to the 7 and made the same nose my old 1.3 ticker used 2 when i gave that some death. please help.

sounds like the rev limiters on holiday, or left you for another car?
