Car stolen!!!
A client of mine had his 05 BMW 330 convertable and his misses 4x4 stolen.
The broke into the house and took the keys.
Luckily he got the BMW back as it was fitted with a tracker, but has only just been told that the 4x4 has been recovered and both had been stolen to be used in an armed robbery.
They had stolen another car on the same night and used that.
Apparently they knick cars then if suspected that they have a tracker, they park them up for a few days in a normal street to see if the police find it, this has been the case 2 times for him.
The police think he was lucky not to have been distured and disturbed them, it wouldn't have been pretty.
Funny but i was talking to him about the last time the other day and said I would never confront them, just let them take the car, it's a lump of metal, not as important as a life and deffo not worth a knife in the belly!!

Mate .. If I were them, I wouldnt risk getting caught myself ..
I'd get some grubby pipsqueak to do that bit for me and deliver the car to order.
Wouldn't you?
Fukin twats.

Could be, but still isn't worth the risk. I know a lot of people would claim to take them on but in the middle of the night when your half asleep and a couple of awake and alert geezers are ready to do you for a car, i would have to say let them take the foooker and hope the old bill can do their job.
had heard of one bloke who heard a noise and came down to find they had got in, knicked his keys, wallet, mobile phone and house keys and had locked him in his house after cutting the phone wires.
Leaving him stuck in his own house, gotta climb out of a window and get to a neighbours before he can alert the police, thieves would be long gone!

Same thing happened to friends of ours
Broke into the house & took the Cooper S & volvo 4x4
When thy had replaced their vehicles They came back & did it again
We now live on the same estate as them so gives concern
However i do have a "Max" (40kg German Shepherd) who is very protective of "his" property.
Nothing like the threat of physical pain to dissuade these scumbags from trying their luck

These still had the keys so he had to use the car in the day and take it to the bmw showroom to be locked up at night for half a week until they could replace all the locks at a cost of Ł600
They had disabled the thieves key, but access to the vehicle could still be done using the keys.

Rachels parents neighbours had this. One of them had the house broken into and a laptop and keys to the people carrier and a Cooper S taken. The house next door again was in the process of having keys to a Merc van and 4x4 taken when they were disturbed by the big bloke wielding a length of bar. They scarpered in the Cooper S but the Police reckon they'd have had the lot away had they not been disturbed.
