Default Hmmmm....boost going weird??

hi peeps was just wondering if u can help me here...

for the past few nights i have been driving around at night and when its nice and cool...

my car has been setup to run 7-8psi boost (ahmed only said its about that figure or close to 10 lol) but for some reason when i floor it in second...im reading 10psi....third about 9 and 4th and 5th 7-8ish....

if i let the car rest....floor it again (assuming the ACT's have gone up)...im back at 7ish psi....drive around and engine is cool...floor it in second, straight upto 10psi and pulling hard....

anyone know whats going on?

that's normal
You can't expect the Escort RS Turbo to hold the boost it's set to peak at, the system just wont allow it

It occasionly will peak or 'spike' higher than it used too, mine sometimes goes over 2bar of boost (30psi)

colder weather or something in the air will do it

Why? It's the management that is causing it - not the engine
