Default best plugs and leads for 500 brake escos?

want to get some new plugs and leads for my car,but need to know which are the best.

Cheers kev arnt the ford motorsport leads more suited or they not needed.

i think the ends are bad for corroding on the motorsport ones jon the standard ford leads are very high quality

It was only the 2wd leads that gave any corrosion issues (for some) I believe Kev.

i,v never had any probs with standard ones bill i had motorsport ones on for a year then started having probs so went to standard on tony,s advice

i remember Karl putting up a post about having probs with the motorsport leads corroding at the ends aswell i,m sure

Yep, remember the post (Karl's), just thought it was only the 2wd leads due to the angled ends.....and for the record, I agree that the genuine Beru leads are the danglies

nowt to do with the engled ends bill, its to do with the terminal connectors between the dizzy cap fitment and the lead itself becoming corroded as they are effectively a 2 part lead (utter shat design or what? )

not in this hp catagory at all but my car hated 909 leads at over 2 bar, now runs std beru with no issues

Bill is still correct in that the only leads afflicted are the early angled caps.

Escort Cosworths dont use that old fashioned cap

Denso plugs are fine too, IF of the correct heat range!

Kev, as Stu pointed out (cos on reflection I wasn't too clear in my post), I was ONLY referring to '909' 2wd leads, NOT the Ford Beru 2wd leads.
