Default engine on sapphire 4x4 runing on after turning off

Hi,

After turning off the ignition my engine runs on for a second or so. I have had this checked by Ford when it was serviced but they said they could find nothing wrong. There obviously is. can anyone help please.

Steve

I initially thought it was the ignition timing but Ford had just changed the timing belt and I got them to double check the timing again after I took it back in and they said it was fine. It was also doing this before the belt was changed.

Is there any additive that can reduce the carbon deposits ?
