Default boosting probs, help urgent pls

fitted t4, when i give it sum wont boost properly over 25psi, sounds like wastegate opening cos can hear chatter from filter, got -34 actuater which is 2 mnth old, any ideas y this happening

Thats compressor surge mate..
DO NOT drive it with this condition active as it can cause VERY serious damage indeed.

Stu totally mapped out all the surge from my MD240... In my opinion the turbo was a poo design though. Other people have apparently had alot of success with them though.

How was Daz's dads MD240R Stu, surgetastic or was it ok?

Live mapping with air injectors is step 1.

Well,
It wasnt as bad as yours if that helps, and since the head spec wasnt as good as yours it should have been worse really mate

Ran 1bar from 2200rpm up to 4200rpm then 35psi peak at 4300rpm and 32held to the 7500 limiter...

Maybe they have revised the compressor or turbine mate
