Depends if you can weld well for a start? or know someone who can!

any shell can be rebuilt (within reason ofcourse) theres always the choice to reshell it!? 2nd hand good nick shell?

panels is just a case of phoning up and asing what's still avail really, what you cant get patern part co's will help!

if you have the space/facilities and bollocks to take it on then i'd go for it!

ford uk online do a lot of panels for the esc, cheap too!

check my thread (s2 fuel prob, was pump with pics),for a time scale,(fitting in with work, family, weather and daily commitments, should give you an idea ,money wise ,depends what you want, brand new, doesnt always mean expensive,my cars had allsorts of silly things up with it,

do it,you know you want to,not everyones got a classic ford turbs you know.and most new cars are just getting up to performance equals(sept for rice burners"spit")as a standard turbs.

If u havent done any mechanical work before, its not hard to learn with a bit of help, getting your lump out in yarmouth isnt a problem as theres always someone who can give u hand to get the lump out, its not hard,

if i was u i would do the body while the engine is out, get the lump out and off to engine engeering, then the shell can be sorted while engine is being done.
