Hi i am unsure what turbo to purchase, engine spec as follows:

1.8 zvh
Stage 3 Head
piper Cam
unknown chip
stainless exhaust
-31 actuator
standard intercooler at the min

would it be a good idea to uprate the turbo if which one, which bhp would i be lokkin at roughly hasnt been rollin roaded yet as still running in

 

stage 2 t3, give u about 240bhp and no lag. The bottom end wont take any more than that.

 

yeah stage 2, i run a stage 2, a nice turbo capable of 20psi+,

 

cheers stage 2 it is then, as long as i have good reliable power

 

 

Uprate the intercooler and go for a nicely specced T3 IMO mate, as stated above any more than that and your gonna need to sort the internals out

Expect 200ish BHP but not 240 IMO

I am getting the pro alloy intercooler with twin fans have heard alot of gd things about, does it matter what company i get the turbo from, is a stage 2 the same spec everywhere, or are some places beta or last longer that others

 

only get the turbo from a recommended place like:

turbo technics
universal turbos

alot of shady places about and people having problems

 

That's the maximum the turbo will do, not necesarilly what his engine will put out.
