Ive such a bad tooth ache that wont fuck off, and im not going to the dentist either. Anyone got any tips? ive tried the whiskey thing but it doesnt seem to work.

 

Stop the sugary drinks, including sugar in tea and coffee. Whenever I get toothache I lay off the sugar, haven't been to the dentist for nearly 15 years now and never had a filling

Oh and if you want relief from the pain short term, just go mad with ibuprofen + codis + cocodamol + nytol + alcohol, all legal and on an empty stomach you'll be in bed fast asleep in no time

 

The end result of that is you dont wake up and you need your stomach pumped, its really killing me...

 

Just go to the bloody dentist!

 

I fuckin hate the dentist.

 

i had the same problem, then it turned into an absess, which required anti-biotics cos it got infected.
just bite the bullet - pardon the pun - and go to the dentist, you will be much happier after!

 

just had a root filling myself Ł150.00 im in the wrong job

 

I know it sounds fooking horrible,,,but sometimes it works

altho take painkillers etc,,,tis all fine and dandy,,,but don't get right into the pain!! Get a tablet and eat it on the tooth,,,,,DONT water it down or just neck it, tastes like $hit for a lil bit yeah, but as soon as you've munch etc on it, it starts to get into where the pain is trick from my dentist!!

The go and get a massive drink to wash away the rank taste,,,,lol

Its a fuckin rip off, the dentist bends you over that chair and takes you up the arse...my mate had a bill of Ł800 recently

I had my wisdom tooth out last month, x-rays and all that stuff, hurt like pants,,,,was 110 squids

 

He had a load of stuff done, crowns, fillings, injections everything....

I got some of that clove oil stuff, it has seemed to numb it a bit but i can still feel it.

 

It is safe to take 2 paracetamol then 2 hours later nurofen, then repeat so you are taking the opposite ones every 2 hours. That will help

 

500mg co-codomol works a treat m8

 

speak to tiff he has had some experience of toothache recently he even posted the piccy of the problem once removed!!

you may cure it tempory but itll come back worse,if its aching theres abviuosly summit up with it that needs sorting, dont wait till it becomes unbearable like i did once get it sorted mate youll be glad u did

 

What i dont want is to walk into my dentist and for him to give me a lecture about my teeth, they arent bad like but this one tooth is. Everytime im there he makes a dick out of me infront of all the wee trainee people and i feel like a right twat.

 

Oil of clove, dip a cotton bud into the bottle then put into tooth that hurts!!!

Makes your mouth water but works a treat!!!

Phone NHS direct, ask them for a local NHS dentist that can sign you up.
NHS rates are cheaper than private, or just pick up a phone book and phone places, try and get the cheapest you can.

some places do fillings for like Ł50, just for a basic metal coloured one, for white you increase the fee.

Numbing the pain works for only a short time, you live your life just trying to avoid the pain taking pills overy couple of hours, you will end up spending more on pills that it costs to go and get your tooth sorted.

If it was a toss up between - oh lets say a new intercooler, and my tooth sorting out, i would gladly pay for the tooth to be sorted.

get some anbesol put it on the tooth that hurts ,,that will numb the pain down straught away do that every half hour or so

then get some paramol pain killers you will have to ask for them they dont sell um on the shelf,,take 3 and the pain will numb right down

this is what i do cause im a big wimp when it comes to going to the dentist

 

go to a pharmacy and get some "Ora-gel".not sure if thats spelt right.this stuff is the bollocks

 

Nah... the dentist aint so bad, I had my second 40 minute round of root canal work done this morning.... all finished now though and this time I aint even sore!
