for ease of fitment i would go pro-alloy

otherwise you have to mess about with hose reduction etc etc

Hoses are more or less sorted..But with the price of the cooler/hoses it does work out more than the pro alloy 1,but thats why ive started the thread,which is the better cooler.......

I am sure Ford reserched the 500 cooler LOADS back in the day, But Pro-Alloy will of look all that info and improved on it......imho

i think any of the new 60mm core rs500 size inters are better than the old original, but it dont mean its crap.

has no-one done a PROPER test on the 500 coolers? Loaded in say fourth at peak power for a decent length of time. Best cooler wins

no they only seem to do tests upto 100mph, which is useless.


they need a big bhp car/or one with hi act, and do back to back runs till the act peaks and stops risin
