For some reason my car needs at least 10litres( and i know this cause i started with a empty(recently fitted) tank, to start! Any less and the pump cant pull enough fuel out of the tank. Any ideas why this is so?

mine needs half a tank!!! lol

its due to mine having the pump incorrectly mounted, so the hose frm tank to pump is the wrong length and the pump cnt suck the fuel

basically u need the pump mounted correctly with the correct length pipe frm tank to pump, otherwise like mine it wil suck air

 

yer mines mounted slightly higher, would a shorter hose help?
