I'm just finishing off the wiring of my DTA P8 ecu.

I'm using Boscs 803, dark green and i'm told i don't need ballast resistors.

I've fitted noise surpressors to the wideband lambda power, earth and signal.

My question is are there any other resistors, surpressors etc etc i should be using anywhere in the loom?

Sorry, Cant help you as I do not know if the DTA requires such resistors.
Try ringing DTA and asking them !

I've spoke with DTA and they simply said don't use ballast resistors on the injectors as the ECU takes care of it.

But sine then i've heard so many people going on about using different things to help control idle valves and things.

Another quick question for you mate.

The crank sensor wire.
1 end of the screen connects to the ECU, what do i do with the other end? (leave off, earth to chassis or earth to the same earth point the ECU uses??)

Dude, in the space of 2hrs you have posted 3 replies asking for Simon's attention!!!

He runs his own business and is extremely busy, I dont know how he has time to scratch his ass .......so he aint online all the time as unfortunatly to get paid he has to work, lol, unlike the rest of us who do fuck all and get paid

Normally the screen is only connected at one end to prevent ground loops
creating electrical interference.
From my experience, connect ONLY ecu end screen.
But you should really check with YOUR ecu supplier DTA for the
correct method.
