Westfields the cheapest of the lot there, Caterhams if you buy all the modules you can assemble if a couple of days but they cost the earth.

Dax is silly money too, but a very nice car.

You start off with a budget and I would say its pretty much impossible to keep under control even re-using as much as possible of the donor - It really does start to add up for bits and bobs you keep needing.

Car in the sig cost 7k +

If you wanna keep the cost down see what the boys at www.locostbuilders.co.uk are up to. Locost chassis is near enough in the same league as a westy anyway I'll wait for Darrens reply

Cheers

NO!

Why spunk all your cash on an expensive rev happy torque starved moped when you can get a mint FZR1000RU EXUP for £2500

180bhp at the crank on a good day with a following wind
and they cost a mint. Trouble with the way people measure bhp per ton on a bike is the fact that they forget to add the fuel, oil, brake fluid and weight if rider into the equation. Get an older bike for peanuts and tune it at your leisure

Mark (195bhp at rear wheel 101 lblsft at rear wheel)
