Hi, the speakers are not working in my girlfriends KA, a friend has tested them and says the wiring is at fault, so while he is renewing the wiring I want him to replace the speakers in the front door.
Can anyone tell me what size speakers will fit without any modding to the doors.

 

5x7 (or 6x8s as they are sometimes known) will fit in with no problems (although I'd check to see that the tweeter would not protude beyond the grille, unless you want to take the Grille off.

JBL probably do them the cheapest, but the Infinity and DLS ones sound quite good

 

She went out and bought some 6x9's now, see what happens when my mate come to fit them.

To fit on the rear shelf, they're easy. Into the front doors it takes alot of effort, and you would probably end up with a better sound from a good pair of 5x7s.
