to wrap or not to wrap,
i know this gets asked alot but cant remember the answer
i have a tubular manifold and the heat it generates is causing my bonnet to blister up
is it recomended to heat wrap the manifold or not?

I have done this on mine.
Works well, keeps temps down.
manifold retains more heat which is transfered into the head. Especially when the car is switched off.
If you go this route an electric water pump on a timer would be advisable, keeps water running after engine is switched off for a couple of minutes..

Do a search as there was a discussion on this many wks ago involving Karl norris et al, i think the conclusion was dont wrap turbo but you can the manifold and down pipe, do that search tho 1st
