I saw this once at a cruise on a RST (spark plug before the back box)
& it looked
back box was glowing red hot, baffles were coming out the exhaust, & the back bumper was melting
But the lad thought it was great

Matt,
There's no point saying it can't be done, because:
a) one of the know alls on the board will tell me that they have years of experience and it'll be fine.
b) you'll do it anyway.
Personally, and from my VAST experience of these things, put it after the backbox.

i finished making the circuit i was on about today, didnt fookin work,
it wont switch, just stayed high all the time and the transstor got fookin hot!
anyone got any flamer circuits i can use?? (wiring diagrams...)
well, i built it yesterday, and put an oscilloscope accross the 555 and it switched ok, but when the load was added the transistor stayed high and foookin hot, it wount not spark either, but it did if i kept touching the wire of the coil onto the output...
