Default Siezed Caliper - Is there a temporary measure???

Iv just realised that 1 of my front calipers is seized quite badly, it wont even go back with a G-clamp.

Is there a temporary fix i could do to fit the new pads in until i get it sorted?

If not then im gona have to get another caliper. But would Saph 4x4 calipers fit, as mine is a 2WD?

Thanks.

er ........ exactly what are we talking about screwing here!!!!

Anyways, i tried to push this piston back with a G-clmap and it bent the handle on the clamp, so i dont think theres much hope for this 1.

So im getting some calipers off some 1 tomorrow to put. HOWEVER, there is 1 problem with these, they dont have the metal hoses connect to them? So how easy is it going to be to fit the hose from my caliper? Or is that out of the question?

I know how they're connected to the rubber hose near the strut, but not sure how they're connected to the bottom of the caliper itself?

Any thoughts?

Seen the other thread too

Hoses just screw into the caliper mate.

Did you try undoing the bleed nipple whilst trying to push the piston back like I said ??

Yeah tried that mate, cheers, but unfortunatly there was still no response from this 1. Its just siezed solid. Well actually tell a lie, its come out using the brakes of the car whilst holding the others in place but it just wont go back inwards again.

Thank fcuk the hoses just screw in as i want this caliper sorted out by Friday.

But cheers for your help anyway mucker, much appreciated.

No probs, I'd still try turning it tho, but as you have another then its easier to chuck it in the bin
