the 325i is 192 bhp and has a top speed of 145 mph this is correct for the e36 shape ive just read it in my old manual. i had a L reg 325i with a full stainless and a K n N. it was a quick car till i lost the back end just after it had rained and hit a lamp post and street sign. i had no problems with mine and my mechanic give the engine good look over and said they are usually bulletproof but do have problems with waterpumps not lasting long! i beat a lot of cars in races in it but even though its 192bhp it is quite a heavy car but still nippy. when i got it fixed and sold it i bought a standard escort turbo(thats when i found this site) and was gutted how slow it was compared to the bmw but ive now got a RS 2000 which pulls better.i would have another bmw but it would have to have traction control!
