Default Wheels from 3dr/saff

Are they the same as the offset on the Escos?Got a project on the go rwd Escos and i got a set of wheels off a 3dr,i am assuming the Escort and Sierra share the same floor pan so in theory will go?Please confirm.

Offset on standard Escort Cosworth wheels is ET25
Sierra have et35 or 40 dependant on 2wd/4wd
The 3 door wheels will sit-in too far on an Escort!

Hello,thanks mate,so can you say how many mm i would need to add on spacers to get the right look?I know its a dumb question but the wheels i have are what i want and own LOL so am loathed to sell them.

If like you say they are off a 3dr (so I`m assuming ET35) then you need a 10mm spacer to bring the offset to the correct amount.

They will still sit-in too far even with a 10mm spacer due to them only being 7j compared to the standard wheels 8j width! If your going to add a spacer of that thickness which is a bodge imo then you will need longer wheel studs all round also!
I think 15" x 7" wheels will look terrible on an Escort bearing in mind the originals are 16" x 8" all imo of course!
