Well after last weeks accident before Ford Fair, guess whats happened this week before Castle Combe

Just been to get my new tyres fitted and the DICK HEAD has gone and jacked the car up on the floor pan Bent the floor pan right up behing the seat and im not happy one little bit. His attitude was..."well what do you want me to do about it"

The fella has got all imagrants SP working for him that dont speak a word of English, so were do i stand as he has not payed no compensation for what has happened, im not gonna go through the insurance as ive booked the car in to be sorted. (Thank you, you no who you are )

Shall i....

1. Get the car repaired and send him the bill and see if he'll pay it?
2. Go see a solicitor?
3. Go give hima good hiding, even thou he may get one tomorrow when im in Combe?

Im scared to take the car to National Day now as that will be the 3rd bit of bad luck. But all i will say is, the car will defo be going the RING

As well as a solicitor, I'd be speaking to the local trading standards officer.

if no joy repeat no 3 and then go to 2

is it a known company or just a garage if its just a garage then a good kicking then a solicitor on the case

i had a similar thing to me where a grarage used a 4 post ramp and one leg went and bent the front floor the garage paid out as they knew it was there fault

Only pay out money if you would be ok with never getting it back. His insurance will want to see it, and may want to do the work thereselves. Go ahead and get 3 quotes though...

If you have to believe you will get a 3rd bit of bad luck, it could be anything - leaving the car parked up might be the wrong thing. Don't let superstision (how the hell do you spell that ) ruin your day.

Is it a chain of garages, or is it a one off

Sumin similar happened on my 206, the car was to low to fit on there HUGE trolley jack, so 2 of them lifted it up my the wing

Needless to say the coke can wing bent and rippled

The manager there did'nt seem to give a shit, told me it was my own fault for having a lowered car, i took pics on my phone at the time,

Wrote to the head office (national tyre and autocare), and they bent over backwards to have it repaired, and they paid in full

No its not a big outlet mate, but a fairly big tyre place as they advertise in the North West Autotrader. Ive took pics and will take pics after its repaired...lets see if he's willing to pay

 

This is why if at all possible I always stand and watch the person doing things on my car, and shout if they don't do it right. Okay, it's inconvenient for me but I'd rather have that than getting my car bolloxed. Some of these places don't like you being in the bays, but I'd rather take it to somewhere else than chance this sort of thing happening.

Paul, i thought i had bad luck mate but pm me there name so i dont use them and tell them, in writing If they they dont repair or pay you the costs you will be speaking to your solicitors, reporting them to trading standards, plus the echo etc.or give me a ring and we will pay them a visit Either way they should be named for most women and some fella,s i would think would say nothing. It happened to gill a few years ago and they fuked her off, lets just say we got our money for the repairs when it went in the local rag that was a N,Tyre company, i think they closed that deppo not long after hope it was,nt my fault

go there and kick up a fuss when there is lots of customers there and tell them that you are going to keep doing it till something is done about the damage to your car!

how many other cars have they done this to and the customer hasnt realised!

ring up your insurance and see if you have legal cover that covers something like this as oftern it doesnt go down as a claim!

i know exactly how it feels to have the car damaged by a garage! hope you get the money out of them i got fuck all!
