Default Cooling on GRS

I've just got my GRS for my ERST and was wondering whats the best way of cooling for the rad.

I've got 1 10" Kenlowe already but is it worth getting another one?

I've seen people running one fan, 2 fans, one/both on the outside of the cooler, one/both in between the rad and cooler, so whats the best?

Any advice much appreciated

I had the first type of GRS, which is 10mm thinner than the ones out now. I had one Kenlowe in the middle, and then moved it to the front.

Cooling was better with on the front, but ACT's were worse. The cooling was never great, and couldn't be kept undercontrol in the summer without having the heaters on full blast. That was using an 82degree thermostat too.

Now, I have 2 fans controlled independantly fitted on the rad, an alloy rad, an 82degree thermostat and will be having the back of the bonnet open slightly. Fingers crossed that I won't need to use the heaters this summer.

Cheers Tone, I will probably end up getting another one and putting them in between the rad and cooler...

I'll put just the one in for now and see how the temps go

will ask Gary to map mine in for me LOL

I have a pair of Kenlowes between the rad and intercooler and a 82 stat, works okay but learnt to use 130 anti-freeze to be safe. Lifting bonnet made no differences but looks

Get an Alloy Radiator with your Ken lowes and you shouldn't have any probs.

Since my 'incident' not so long back I'm back to a std rad still running 2 x 10in kenlowe fans between rad and intercooler, still having no problems, but with std rad runs a bit warmer than the alloy rad I used to have

It is a tight fit but get the fan inbetween the rad and cooler I am going to opt for an alloy rad when I get my GRS, as above cooling is not great espeacially in summer
