how do you do a screen grab???

how do you do a screen grab???
i see pics of screens that people have copyed, they look exactly the same as the proper screen, how do you do it???

press "print scn" on keyboard
load paint
goto "Edit" then "Paste"
then save

when i go to edit i just have 'paste from' available
i have a button with 'prt sc' on it inside a small box with insert written above it, i asume thats the right one?

but like i say when i go into paint and go to edit, theres no 'paste' just 'paste from, any ideas

when u press "Prt Sc" it does a screen grab of the current highlighted window
if u do "ctrl - prt sc" it does everything viewable.

if i press the 'prt sc' button by itself nothing happens at all, should i be pressing summit else with it?

Just Press "prt scr" (Nothing will have seemed to have happened), open Paint, Top left of page, Edit-- Paste and Job done
File-Save as
Save it as a JPeg too

open paint (Or another paint program)
put mouse in the centre of the screen
right click
Paste
volia
Save picture as a .JPEG not a .GIF or a .BMP
any problem report back as i'll be here for a while

right clickin on paint in the middle of the screen does absolutely nothin, no menu's or anyhiin

When you open up MS paint what are the menus up the top listed?
like these?
On internet explorer say File Edit View etc etc what does yours say?
