this is my long awaited new series one that my boyfriend peter has just got for me and after saying we wouldnt buy the first one we see we did.
we payed 2100 for this car to find out the back lights didnt work (we had 100 mile journey home with no break lights) and also after i finished washing all the dirt of it i went to lock her up for the night to realise there was no locks and no way to lock it (we didnt notice that when we went to see her)
she looks nice on the outside but there it a lot of work that needs doing on the inside its a mess

 

here is a few pics of inside i will get some more when i put new batteries in the camera

some one has cut the springs out of this seat so they can sit lower down

the wires are a mess and the glove box is in the boot

steering lock due to no door locks


peter is ripping the interior out as we speak to make way for the new seats and door cards that i bought for it today at the ford fair.
i also need a new carpet if anyone can help then once we have done the interior we will be making the engine look nicer

which seats did you buy at ford fair... standard or leather'd?

Cool pete, like you say, bit tatty but if she's nice and solid and a decent runner then she was worth the money, bit of a tidy up and finishing touches will make a nice car there.

Keeps them pics coming, some under bonnet ones etc.

alrite matt,i dont know whats goin on,the seats for the girlfriends s1 are outside in the rain and have been their for 3 days,she cant find the keys for it so i cant get the electrics done.basically shes takin the piss and i dont think she deserves it. but never mind ive got my car back from the insurance company now all done, 2 brand new doors from fords and a nice new windscreen,ill get sum pics of it when it stops pissing down,then on wed its of to j,c motorsport for the long awaited stage 3. HAPPY DAYZ

So is this hers or yours, what you had repaired??

Dropped a couple of pics on my old S1, this misses hated it and called it a pimp car, but then it did have gold alloys and white interior when I bought it so she had a point. Bought mine for Ł3k then spent Ł3.5K on it in 18 months before selling it for Ł3,700. If yours had a good solid shell then it is deffo worth what you paid for it, little bits and even the engine are easy to sort, but rott gets very expensive to sort.

 

the car is hers she does love it to bits but she just had some off days all the seats are nice and clean obviously not as nice as your ones mate we just need some sound profing for under the carpet and then we can put all the seats back in properly. were having some problems with the elecy windows and centeral locking and the trees that hang over the cars but to make things better i got my car back from jc motorsport yesterday with 350 bhp

 

You paid 2100 for it and didn't check anything??
