kev has approx 650bhp with nos and i don't think his is on the limit due to the inlet.

is that not enough then

put it this way i don't think you'll every hit the "limit" on an RS500 inlet as the elbow is large enough

i've seen custom manifold on alot of rallycross engines, but this may be down to loads of other factors, i shouldnt see a problem with under 600-650 as an educated guess.

most people go from a std 2wd inlet, or std 4wd inlet to a custom inlet due to costs.

A genuine RS500 inlet costs around a grand, whereas a custom one is around the 400 quid mark

I know of 630 hp on a dyno I definately trust on a 500 manifold. Not saying it was the limit but this is what the engine produced.
