Well me and my dad have spent the last 3 or so months getting his Saff Cossie redy for Ford Fair and its come to a last mad panic this week.

He has had a nightmare trying to insure the thing, then Wednesday we took it for a test drive and it broke down twice and after a lot of swearing and searching about i tracked down a broken plug on the coolent temp sensor and replace it and its been as good as gold since.

We took it for its mot first thing this morning and the tester loved it, said it was in real good contiction, but failed it on a flexible brake hose on the back as a part of the car had rubbed on it and damaged it.

So get back and ring up Ford needing a new flexible hose ASAP and they dont stock it but can get it for the moring about 10ish, so iam getting there nice and early and fooookin waiting as the hose needs to be fitted and the car back to the mot station and post office by 12!!

So ive got a proper busy day tomorrow as there is still a few bits to to put back on and it needs a real good clean as we had to drive it in the pissing down rain this morning.

Just hoping that Sunday is gonna be a nice hassle free day now

FYI Hadleigh post office is open till 5.30 on Saturday to get Tax if that helps

Till as long as Groses get the right hose in we should be alright, otherwise i might have to pm him, or go round the scrappies

It's not FordFair without those last minute panic problems. Mines going in tomorrow morning to have something sorted and it needs to be on stand by 8:30am

Anyway Ford dealer just rang the hose is in, top service

Just hopeing its the right one now and that all the unions come undone alright

 

Wrong hose, but they have promised another one first thing in the morning.
