Default xantia TD [our run-around car]

selling our main/run-around car now as i no longer need a diesel.

xantia 1.9 TD SX[top model]
1997 'R'
mettalic blue
air con, climate control
4X EW , PAS, RCL, alarm
steering wheel controls
inside out leather interior[alcantara]

i have maintained this car regardless as it has needed to be reliable.
brand new clutch fitted 4-5 months ago at a great cost
brand new rear exhaust section
air-con re-gassed 6 months ago
new throttle cable
serviced once
the car has tax until end of august and it will have 12 months MOT.

this is in excellent condition and drives superb, I have clocked up nearly 17k miles in 9 months in it and it has been faultless.

the milage currently stands at 150k , this only around 6k a year above average , plus these have been mainly motorway miles.

see pics for condition of car , as you can see milage does not reflect condition!!

I am asking £1195 for the car but will take £1100 from anyone on here before it gets advertised locally/ebay.

I have to say the Xantia TD is an EXCELLENT car - I've had TWO as work cars, they are extremely comfortable, well equiped and can do stacks of mileage to a tank.

This one looks like a VSX model to me though which was indeed the highest spec one they did?!

Good cars. If I wasn't buying a new van shortly I would have given you a shout on this one!!

I've just checked, the models went as follows in the TD range:-

1.9 TD
1.9 TD LX (a/c)
1.9 TD LX F/lift (a/c)
1.9 TD SX
1.9 TD SX (a/c)
1.9 TD SX F/lift (a/c)
1.9 TD VSX
1.9 TD VSX (a/c)

The same model range was available for both the 2.1 TD and the petrol models too, whereas the 2.0 HDi top model was an Exclusive.

The petrol turbo model was called a Turbo Activa, however the estate version was called a Turbo VSX.

It's crap selling cars off here, so go with the Autotrader. I will put money on you shifting it quite easily on there, I did with both of mine. I guarantee you will have a whole heap of paddies trying to give you £500 - I had heaps of them lol
