s2 noisy tappets. due to low oil pressure?
Just fitted some new piper anti pump lifters. they have been in 2 weeks and have started to tap.
i have spoke to piper and they said its very rare to have faulty ones, but have sent me 2 new ones that i have got to swap around and try. but he said before i do that it could be the oil pressure.
some kind of ball on the distributor side of the cam may have come loose apparently. anyone know anything about this?

the ball bearing that the guy says is at the distributer end but when you start the car how long does it take for the oil pressure light to go out and does it rattle on start up eg tappety noise for a few seconds .
the next question is what spec oil are u using hope fully you are using either 5w 40 oil or 10w 40 as any other oils are to thick for the cvh engine especially the turbo engine try these if havent already
