Hi I work for Autotrader South West,

My self and my collegue Steve are currently working on a modified feature which is to be distributed in the Autotrader South West and Western. We are also going to have a stand at Western Wheels (in weston-super-mare).

In order to give reader interest we are organising a Quarter Mile drag race near Honiton. The event is going to be happening on Sunaday 7th August. I know it is very short notice......... Sorry but the event is invite only, not RWYB. So any body interested and available, Please contact me asap.

We already have a few bikes lined up as well as a Dragon Performance RX7.

I'd be there like a shot in my Cossie or ZX6-R, but isn't this the same date as Ford Fair (I think?)

Anyone know?

If it's not a clash you can count me in....but I think it's going to be bad timing knowing my luck

For you Robin for having to cancel the event, I can imagine that's a pain in the butt for you as the organiser to have to do it.

However keep me / us posted ref a new date and I'm sure you'll get a lot of interest - I know plenty of people in Yeovil with quick cars / bikes who'd like somewhere local to try some drag racing.

Hi Mate,

I live in Exeter, so Honiton is very much on my door step. I have a Stage 3 Cos running approx 350bhp. Reasonable car, but wouldn't mind having a go if you are looking for runners.

If not, let me know when you do, and we'll come and watch at the very least
