wil the bib fit an 88 spec, or r there major differences?? if it wil fit an 88 spec bumper, maybe with a small amount of mods, im very interested mate

The bib will fit an 88 spec bumper no problem. They were fitted as standard to cars from 86-90.
I will try and get a pic put up tonight for you.

im assuming this is the item like the 1 fitted to the front of the late great F55 SOY s2 rs? if so, im really tryin to find 1 of these, so wil definitely be wanting this.

1 problem is im located in birmingham, which cud b an issue, as im assumin u are nowhere nr the mdlands?? lol

 

The bib is the Standard ford fitment one that would have come on the car straight from the factory.

As for my location its just south of Aberdeen up in sunny Scotland. I will be down at Nat Day though so could possiblly take it with me.

Im guessing that soy had some special type of bib fitted but i cant remember

Am i right in saying it's the one that was fitted to the pre 90 spec rs turbos/xr3i's about 1" in depth just clips along the bottom of the bumper?? not the drop down skirt for the bumper like the picture above

I only bought it because i thought i could fit it to a 90 spec bumper
Because it was a special order the local Ford parts dept wouldnt take it back so its sat up in the loft for at least the last 9 yrs
