Got my engine started yesterday after the rebuild

Also had to run the cam in at the same which i was a
bit worried about.
After holding the car at 2500RPM for 20 minutes i took my foot off the throttle and the car died wouldnt restart

So i had to push it back in the garage at 9.30 last night

Has anyone got any ideas what the problem could be or any suggestions
that i could try?

What are you getting ?

Is it totally dead ie battery or is it cranking but not firing etc etc ??

At least give us a clue

 

yeah sorry little bit vague

Its turning over but it just wont fire,if you leave it for a bit then try it
very nearly fires on the first crank but thats it.

yes mate,i sussed it out today

It was a breather pipe popped off from the oil breather to the back of the block
