Default ++++++Big BRAKES++++++

Benn looking for a big brake conversion for my mk6 escort, wilwood do one that looks smart for about £500 with calipers and 280mm discs. I was wondering if you can put any of the bigger standard ford calipers and discs and how they compare, like the st 170 conversion for a mk4? Thank Tom

And what do you think of it because for me with fast road use i think the calipers aswell might be a overkill. Do you have any pictures? THanks

depends what sort of power ur running, i had four pot wilwoods on the rst, but on the RS 2000 they anch or outs are quite adequate, i presume ur not running big turbo power so anything more maybe a bit ott, this way is a nice cheap upgrade, depends if ur loaded at the time and how much of a tart you are when choosing, yeah i'd love massive 6 pots with 330 rotors, but 1 i don't need em and 2 i aint got the dough

I've got the Willwood kit on my FRST and I gotta tell ya, there AWESOME!!! There the only thing(apart from 180 bhp)that keeps me up with my mates Evo 4 as he just can't stop as quick, which gives me a chance to get back on his bumper! atleast untill he leaves me behind in 4th gear!

Aaron if your listening I got some new engine management on the way and I took the fuse out of your YAW control, ha!!!!
