dave stood no chance of catching it i'm affraid, had about 1 2 meters of track before the grass. once ya on the green stuff ya just have to hold on tight!!

 

Corners deceptive actually. But you can see ( http://www.thebinisfull.com/videos/DaveEscos.wmv ) he looks like he has a slight moment before, which he mostly catches, but it stuffs him for the right where he does go off.

There doesn't seem much room between the track and the wall. Such a shame but in the other vid it does look like he had a bit of trouble just before the corner

really gutted about that -

was he runnnig slicks or normal road tyres, if they were slicks they must have been cold, they seemed to loose all grip and not that great a speed..

makes you think, is a track safer for spanking it..?

 

Dave will be the first one to tell you that he was attempting a very fast drift round the corner, and just got it slightly wrong, hence the squiggle before the corner.....

Yes.

Theres no-one coming the other way. No pedestrians and if you do go off the road/track you arent likely to collect a lamp post. But as with anything worth doing in life. Theres a risk of it all going wrong.

 

i have just seen the video again for the 4th time as soon as dave hit
the wall thay were clapping what a load of dick heads what was so good
about that that could of been bad i would say he was very lucky and
his passenger to get out o.k.

dave im gutted for ya mate i hope yourself and lee are o.k.

whats happening about the car anyway is he going to reshell it or did he
have track day insurance i hope he hasnt had a big loss over it
