anyone from here going?


i'm going up on sunday to check it out and i'm REALLY looking forward to it.

a few of my mates do trials but only for fun and they throw bikes around like you wouldnt believe

this is a PROPPER world championship event for the first time in the UK and if you are in to biking, its a GREAT chance to be awestruck for 2 days

Have seen the Martins a few times and Dave Hemming. Although this was before there were proper comps back in the late nineties. Or at least comps that Joe public could enter.

Martins are so cool tho, i was into my trials riding about 9 years ago when it was just starting to really take off.....those guys are super strong and fearless and so delicate too, awesome sportsmen!

 

I saw Dave the other week - looks like he works for Marin now...

I'd come as Skipton isnt far for me, sadly I'll be on a plane flying to Morzine for a weeks proper biking (on bikes with seats!)

Seriously though - some of the trials riders are out of this world - on the video 'The Collective' there is a lad riding along a chain link fence!
