Default dump valve probs

got a free dump valve off rab on here

anyway my well lane turbo centre d.v works ok, but when i put the bailies (sp) one on(rab said its been sittin at the bottom of his tool box for ages) it didnt work at all...

about 10 mins into the journey it started doing a little quiet ptschhhh, then started sounding fine, but about 1 second after changing gear

then another 10 mins later it started working fine!

then it stopped altogether again!

put the old one on and all works ok, put new one and it worked ok

then 10 mins later it started doing the delay thing, then stopped altogether

ive notived that if you blow into the working ones small pipe hole, there is huuuge resistance, but not any in the one thats not working

sorry for babbling on but has any1 any ideas?

and please no1 write back saying theyre gay

i Think the best thing to do is throw it to the cows ,then it wont bother you anymore, and wont make you jerk everytime you change gear

cover it in wd 40 then throw a match at it and then if it still dont work use another match and the wd40 as a flame thrower
